Welcome to the April Edition of the AESIN Newsletter. As COVID restrictions continue to ease, we look forward to welcoming you all back to our physical events later in the year.
We are looking forward to hosting the AESIN Virtual Auto Electronics Summit on April 13th. This will feature a diverse range of expert speakers from across Government and Industry covering a range of topics aligned with Electrification and Connected Automated Vehicles. The sessions will cover Industry Insights, Industry Supply Chain Focus, Harnessing Innovation Capability and a panel session on Operating Remotely – What Works/What Doesn’t. I hope to see you all there!
We are also excited about planning our physical Annual AESIN Conference later this year, taking place on September 16th. We have recently opened our Call for Papers that gives you the opportunity to speak at the UK’s Premier Automotive Electronics Conference. We are looking for talks that cover business, technical, operations and educational related aspects, involving the following challenge areas: Electrification, Software, Clean & Connected Mobility, Skills, ADAS & HAV and Cyber Security.
AESIN is also delighted to announce its participation as an industry representative in the DISCRIBE study by researchers in Coventry University’s Institute for Future Transport and Cities’ (IFTC) Systems Security Group (SSG) to examine drivers of computer hardware security adoption among businesses and consumers. We would welcome participation from our membership in the survey – Click here to get involved.
I would also like to extend a warm welcome to CENSUS Labs UK who have recently joined the AESIN Community. If you would like help connecting with CENSUS or any of our members, please get in touch.
