Welcome to the first AESIN Update of 2021. We at AESIN are very excited for the year ahead and look forward to collaborating with our members on a virtual and hopefully physical basis in the not-to-distant future.
2020 was a challenging year for many organisations, particularly within the Automotive Industry. However, the collaboration shown within AESIN remains strong as we continue to work with a range of different organisations on a variety of projects. I’m pleased to hear that our ADAS & HAV Workstream completed their re-launch Industry consultation and is now preparing a series on new themed activities including vehicle Sensors for the wider community engagement.
This year we look forward to hosting a range of Automotive Electronics events including: The Virtual AESIN Auto Electronics Summit, The AESIN Security Conference and our flagship event the 2021 AESIN Conference. AESIN events are an opportunity for our members and the wider community to collaborate, communicate and innovate within the Automotive Electronics industry.
We are also very much looking forward to attending various events within industry such as the NMI Virtual Conference, Y-Mobility Master Class, SEMI Global Summit, WMG Master Class and many more. AESIN will continue to promote member and industry events throughout the year on our Social Media channels, website and of course within this Newsletter.
We also encourage you to view the Funding Opportunities available from Innovate UK and Advanced Propulsion Centre in this newsletter and in our Members Basecamp Area.
Finally, I would like to extend a warm welcome our newest members National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Keysight Technologies UK Limited, Above the Cloud Limited, HORIBA MIRA Ltd and Reed Mobility. With the addition of these organisations, we believe we are a stronger and more diverse community. If you would like any help in connecting with any members within AESIN, please reach out to admin@aesin.org.uk and we will be more than happy to make introductions.
