Lead, Cyber Futures Solutions, National Highways

Since early 2023, Max has been working on the Cyber Futures capability at National Highways, developing advanced cyber security solutions for emerging technologies that will disrupt the industry. Previously, he was a cyber security consultant at BAE Digital Intelligence, specialising in transport security. Before that, he worked as a government mathematician for eight years in various technology roles.

The Cyber Futures capability aims to help National Highways securely adopt emerging technologies and understand its security responsibilities as new innovations are embraced by road users. Focusing on safety, integrity, and trust, this talk will introduce the capability, highlight key findings from our first year of work, and identify areas where closer collaboration with the vehicle manufacturing industry is needed.
