Group Sales Director (EMEA North & Central), Cadence Design Systems 

John Heighton has served as Group Sales Director for the EMEA North & Central region for Cadence Design Systems since 2021. In this role, John is responsible for the driving the business in the region, while managing customer relationships and building customer success via the Cadence Intelligent System Design strategy, including a strong focus on the Automotive segment. Prior to this role, he held various key positions in the fields of Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Engineering at Xilinx, Avnet, Silexica and IBM.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University.
