The Sim4CAMSens project has recently updated the unique CAV Catalogue, now offering a comprehensive global directory of over 150 Level 4 Automated Vehicles (AVs). This user-friendly online resource serves as a one-stop platform for researchers and industry professionals interested in the rapidly evolving world of AVs.

Initially developed by automation technologies company Syselek, the CAV Catalogue allows users to explore detailed listings of AV models from developers worldwide. Accessible information includes the developer, country of origin, application (e.g., shuttle/PTB, passenger car/robotaxi, highway freight, last mile, yard truck, defence, mining, agriculture, pavement bot, generic platform), and essential technical specifications.

Registered users gain advanced insights into each AV model’s perception system, detailing sensor types (e.g., LiDARs, cameras, radar) and their integration into the vehicle. This depth of information is invaluable for developers, researchers, and companies aiming to enhance AV technologies, offering a clearer understanding of industry trends and innovations.

The CAV Catalogue is more than just a database; it’s a collaborative effort to foster transparency and innovation in the AV industry. By providing detailed information about AV models and their perception systems, the catalogue aims to encourage benchmarking among developers and suppliers, promote innovation by identifying technology trends and opportunities, and educate the public and wider stakeholders about the breadth of L4 AV development globally.
