Don't miss out on putting your Organisation up for one of the highest Accolades of Excellence in the Tech Industry.
Entrants now have a further two weeks to perfect their entries and ensure their achievements are showcased to the highest standard.
The TechWorks Awards recognise and celebrate achievements & behaviours conducive to a healthy and vibrant industry.
This year, the awards are split into four main categories; Individual, Business Success, Industry Achievements and Research Excellence - with awards to suit individuals, companies and organisation across the entire tech industry.
A full list of the 9 categories open to entries and their judging criteria can be found on the dedicated awards website. Entrants may enter as many categories as they like including the same piece of work into multiple categories, as long as they meet the criteria.
Entering the awards is free and they are open to all organisations within the tech community.
Each award is judged by an influential panel of industry experts and one question which is often asked is ‘How long should an entry be?’ We don’t like to put an actual cap on number of words as meeting the criteria of an award is of far higher significance than the actual number of words submitted. To address these types of questions and provide entrants with the best possible chance of creating a winning entry - we have spoken with previous award judges to ascertain exactly what it is that they are looking for.
Make sure you read what our judges have to say on what makes a winning entry – What the Judges are looking for.
Competition is fierce, and winning a place on the shortlist which is announced around two weeks prior to the event is an achievement in itself.
Previous winners have included McLaren Applied Technologies who last year took the title for the Automotive Innovation and Excellence for their strong adoption of new and innovative technology in their CTU-400 (400kW) e-axle achieving an efficient outstanding performance traction unit for Automotive Electrification; Newport Wafer Fab were recognised as the Manufacturing Site of the Year with their high volume wafer fab and highly skilled team providing a manufacturing service which enables their customers to succeed in their fields of expertise and Unmanned Life - who in 2017 were crowned winners of the Disruptive Innovation Award for demonstrating significant impact through integration of multiple technology for multiple applications in their AI Software Platform for Autonomous Commercial Solutions.
