Join the leading minds driving Innovation in Vehicle Electronics at the Premier UK Automotive Electronics Conference

AESIN is delighted to announce further industry experts to complement the

agenda of its Annual Conference – the premier UK Automotive Electronics event.

The conference is taking place October 1, 2019 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham.

Now in its 7th year, the conference brings together thought leaders, industry experts, government representatives and researchers. The conference is expected to attract more than 300 attendees, 20 exhibitors and several vehicle demonstrators including McLaren Applied Technologies, TATA Motors and Triumph.

Today, AESIN is pleased to announce the details of a further two industry experts joining the conference proceedings - Dr Daniel Ruiz, CEO – Zenzic and Matt Boyle OBE, Interim Challenge Director - Driving the Electric Revolution.

Daniel’s career has seen him address traffic challenges of the UK road network by developing, installing and maintaining a number of technology-based solutions. He oversaw the London Streets Traffic Control Centre and maintenance of Greater London's 6000 sets of traffic lights, and set up the Transport Coordination Centre for the London 2012 Olympics.

Now, leading the UK’s £100 million connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) programme as part of his role as CEO at Zenzic, Daniel will be joining the AESIN conference to discuss why the proposed switch to connected and autonomous vehicles from conventional private transport is gaining momentum and how crucial collaboration is to achieve the planned 80% use of self-driving vehicles in urban areas by the 2030s, alongside the consequential 70% reductions in car ownership.

Matt was one of the authors of the successful Stephenson Challenge, now Driving the Electric Revolution; an Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund Wave 3 Challenge.

The vehicle electrification expert is set to join the conference proceedings to share the developments of the challenge vision.

The conference will see a host of key industry leaders discuss the latest advancements and technologies for the automotive electronics.

Keynote talks from Iain Forbes - Head of the UK Government's Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles and Laith Altimime – President SEMI Europe have been announced previously and further announcements are set to be made in due course.

With the myriad of high calibre speakers and participants – delegates can expect to be kept abreast on the latest developments in the rapidly evolving automotive electronics space owed to the increasing level of technological innovation and growing initiatives toward vehicle automation and self-driving cars.
