We’re looking for an ADAS & HAV(Highly Automated Vehicles) Workstream Chair.

The ADAS & HAV Chair role is at the core of our Connected and Automated Vehicle Technology activities

AESIN represent the UK Automotive Electronics community working closely with the Automotive Council UK, CCAV, ZENZIC and other key stakeholders supporting UK Industry. AESIN prioritises its work through its Executive Steering Board Chaired by Dr. Stephen Lambert of McLaren Applied. AESIN operates several Workstream Groups which align to the core Industry technology development areas: ADAS & HAV, Security, Software, Clean & Connected Mobility and More Electric Powertrain.

We are now seeking to appoint a suitable candidate from the membership to become the Chair on the ADAS & HAV Workstream replacing Dr. Alan Walker who has served over four years in the role developing a high profile and successful group covering Sensing, Controls, Hardware, HMI, Verification and Functional Safety Assurance. The activities have included bringing together Industry, Academia and strategic Partnerships including Government supporting the UK leadership in Connected and Automated Vehicle technologies.

We’re therefore inviting AESIN  members to put themselves forward for this highly influential and high profile role. It will require time commitment and will therefore need the support of your employer. The ADAS & HAV Chair will also join the AESIN Executive Steering Board.
